Product description
HVO Diesel 100 is one of the fuel products that gives the greatest reduction in fossil CO2 emissions. The product is produced through hydration of renewable raw materials and is often referred to as HVO (hydrated vegetable oil). Preem uses only raw materials from slaughterhouse waste in HVO Diesel 100. Our HVO is free of palm oil / PFAD. The HVO Diesel 100 meets the requirements of Class A of the technical specification CEN / TS 15940.

Benefits
HVO Diesel is made exclusively from renewable components. HVO Diesel 100 reduces emissions of fossil greenhouse gases by approx. 88 percent compared to completely fossil diesel. The renewable share is 100 per cent. Preem currently only uses raw materials from slaughterhouse waste in HVO Diesel 100.

Applications
The HVO Diesel 100 can be used in traditional diesel engines, provided that the vehicle supplier has given his approval. In its chemical structure, the HVO Diesel 100 is virtually identical to fossil diesel. The similarity to regular diesel means that the product can be used in conventional diesel engines, but since the current diesel standard is not fully met, approval from the vehicle supplier is required.

Storage
Storage of all fuel should only be done in cisterns approved for storage. To ensure that the product quality does not deteriorate, light-permeable cisterns should not be used. When storing fuel, it is important to perform regular water control in the cistern to reduce the risk of growth of microorganisms.
