Mobil Rarus SHC ™ 1020 series are superior performance oils. They are primarily intended for lubrication of rotary and wing / slat-based air compressors operating under demanding operating conditions. They are particularly well suited for demanding operations where mineral oil-based products fail to meet, such as in conditions of high final compression temperatures and when long oil change intervals are desired. The oils are made with wax-free, synthetic hydrocarbons specially selected for the purpose and a high-tech additive system that ensures exceptional oxidation protection and resistance to thermal decomposition that is far superior to mineral oil-based air compressor oils. They provide outstanding protection and reliability for compressors operating under conditions where other air compressor oils do not extend. The Mobil Rarus SHC 1020 Series offers excellent wear protection, outstanding oxidation resistance and thermal degradation that are very superior to mineral oils. The special composition helps to reduce maintenance costs by minimizing problems with equipment, deposits and oil supplied with the air. The high viscosity index ensures effective lubrication at high temperatures. Mobil Rarus SHC 1020 series significantly reduces the risk of fire and explosion compared to mineral oil-based products. They form virtually no deposits and have a high self-ignition temperature which improves both performance and safety. The excellent ability to separate water reduces the problems of filters and coilizers and thus the need for frequent maintenance.
