The Norwegian Transparency Act
Bunker Oil is committed to complying with fundamental international human rights and promoting decent working conditions. As an important part of our business, we expect the same compliance from our suppliers and business partners. Our Code of Ethics addresses conduct in our work environment, business practices and relationships with our external stakeholders, and apply to everyone who works in and with Bunker Oil.
At Bunker Oil, we achieve a good working environment and strengthen the trust of our stakeholders by practicing and promoting respect for each individual, honesty and integrity. The board of directors has adopted accountability in Bunker Oil's guidelines and commitment to conduct due diligence and report in accordance with the Norwegian Transparency Act.
The company's report under the Transparency Act for 2023 contains a statement of the company's operations, the method for the due diligence assessment and the results thereof.
Gender Equality
We work for equality and against discrimination on the basis of gender, pregnancy, maternity or adoption leave, caring responsibilities, ethnicity, religion, beliefs, disability, sexual orientation, gender identity and gender expression, as well as combinations of these grounds.
Our equality statement is described in our Ethical Guidelines. All employees of subsidiaries and the company's suppliers shall be treated fairly and without prejudice. No one shall be discriminated against in connection with recruitment, salary determination, competence development, promotion or dismissal, nor in daily work. Behavior that can be perceived as threatening or degrading, including bullying, harassment and discrimination, is not accepted.
