The privacy statement is about how Bunker Oil AS collects and uses information about visitors to our sites. The statement contains information you are entitled to when collecting information from our website (section 19 of the Personal Data Act) and general information about how we process personal data (section 18 of the Personal Data Act).

Bunker Oil AS, by the CEO, is responsible for processing the company's processing of personal data. It is optional for those who visit the website to provide personal information in connection with services such as receiving newsletters and sending us an inquiry via our contact form. The basis of treatment is the consent of the individual, unless otherwise specified.

Web analytics and cookies

As an important part of our efforts to create a user-friendly website, we look at the user pattern of those who visit the site. To analyze the information, we use the analysis tool Google Analytics.

Google Analytics uses cookies (small text files that the site stores on the user's computer), which record the user's IP address, and provide information about the individual user's movements online. Examples of what the statistics give us are; how many people visit different pages, how long the visit lasts, which websites the users come from and which browsers are used. None of the cookies allow us to link information about your use of the site to you as an individual.

The information collected by Google Analytics is stored on Google's servers in the United States. Information received is subject to Googles retningslinjer for personvern.

An IP address is defined as a personal data because it can be traced back to a specific hardware and thus to an individual. Bunker Oil AS uses Google Analytics tracking code which anonymizes the IP address before the information is stored and processed by Google. Thus, the stored IP address cannot be used to identify the individual user.

Search

Bunker Oil AS stores information about which keywords users use on our Google Analytics sites. The purpose of storage is to make our information available better. Search usage patterns are stored in aggregate form. Only the keyword is stored and cannot be linked to other user information such as IP addresses.

Share / tip service

The "Share with others" feature can be used to redirect links to the site via email, or to share the content of social networking communities. Tips information is not logged with us, but is only used occasionally to post the tip to the online community. However, we cannot guarantee that the online community will not log this information. All such services should therefore be used wisely. If you use the e-mail feature, we will only use the specified e-mail addresses to forward the message without any storage.

Newsletter

It is possible to subscribe to newsletters from Bunker Oil AS's website. In order for us to send e-mail to the right person, we must register the name and e-mail address. We also record the business you work for. This information is not shared with other businesses and is deleted when we are notified that you no longer wish to receive information from us. The information will also be deleted if we receive feedback that the email address is no longer active.

Page and service functionality

Cookies are used in the operation and presentation of data from websites. Such cookies may contain language code information for the user selected language. There may be cookies with information that support the load balancing of the system to ensure all users the best possible experience. For services that require login or search, cookies may be used to ensure that the service presents data to the right recipient.
